Treatments

Full Spine & Extremity Adjustments

Conservative treatment focusing on restoring range of motion, decrease pain levels, and improve function. Techniques include: Diversified, Drop Table, Cox-Flexion.

Myofascial Cupping

Therapeutic technique that involves placing cups on specific areas of the skin to create a distraction-like effect to promote proper tissue gliding, increase blood flow, and decrease muscle tightness.

Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave therapy, also known as extracorporeal shock wave therapy, is a non-invasive medical treatment, commonly applied to treat chronic pain conditions and soft tissue (muscle, ligament, tendon) injuries. The process involves the usage of acoustic waves (high energy sound waves) to encourage tissue healing in various musculoskeletal conditions (i.e. plantar fasciitis, achilles tendinitis, calcific shoulder pain, tennis/golfer elbow, patellar tendonitis, meniscus injury, and other chronic musculoskeletal conditions).

Active Release Technique (ART)

Soft tissue release technique focused on identifying and treating soft tissue problems that disrupt muscle, tendon, ligament, nervous tissue, and fascia. ART is particularly helpful for overuse injuries, strains/sprains, nerve entrapment, and muscle imbalances. ART is commonly used to treat the following: tennis/golfer elbow, plantar fasciitis, tendonitis/tendonopathy, shin splints, tension headaches, ITB syndrome, carpal tunnel syndrome, and many other muscular and joint conditions.

Normatec Compression Boots

Full lower extremity compression sleeves, commonly applied to help with muscle recovery and to enhance blood circulation. The boots are commonly used for athletes and individuals in need of muscle recovery, especially following intense physical exercise.

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization

Manual therapy technique designed to mobilize and manipulate soft tissues in the body. IASTM is utilized to help break down myofascial adhesions, improve blood flow, increase range of motion, and promote tissue healing. Conditions treated include: myofascial pain, chronic muscle tightness, tendinopathies, and overuse injuries.

Exercise/Home Care

We understand that each individual needs are different, which is why we provide a personalized exercise plan tailored to each patient and designed to improve movement strategies, postural issues, and flexibility/strength. The goal is not to just correct musculoskeletal dysfunction, but to also prevent and/or reduce the risk of injury.
